We are very proud to announce that David Cutler has been named one of Engineering News-Record's '20 under 40' in the Pacific Northwest category!
David Cutler, AIA, NCARB, started at GGLO in 2008 and has since risen quickly to the position of Principal. His extensive experience with complex residential, institutional
and mixed-use projects makes him a much consulted expert in the field of architecture,
planning and urban design. Sought out as a conference presenter and co-author,
David specializes in a myriad of contested urban design projects that include public
outreach, rapid transit components and public-private partnerships.
Implementing
GGLO’s mission of “Design for the Human Experience” and exercising his passion
for exploration, David helms a diverse array of investigative efforts that have
helped to incrementally elevate the quality and performance of work in the
firm. He leads the Thought Research Initiative, which aims to further bind the relationship between design and the
“human experience” with a focus on sustainable strategies. David’s goal is for
this program to make learning and knowledge inextricable from work. It is his
belief that through the fundamental act of exploration, we can discover new
pursuits that can be motivating, productive and rewarding.
