GGLO's expanding leadership signifies the firm's growth, evolution and enhanced capacity to positively shape the communities in which we work and live.
Marieke Lacasse ASLA, LEED® AP BD + C
Principal
Marieke joined GGLO in 2001, bringing her passion for multicultural, artistic environments and collaborative design. Since then, she has woven sustainability into every project, focusing on innovation of materials, placemaking and technique. Marieke has over 15 years of experience developing award-winning parks, streetscapes, gardens and community spaces. Her focus on user experience allows for comprehensively planned design promoting community stewardship.
Pamela brings diverse project leadership and design experience, ranging from sustainable hotel and resort hospitality projects to residential communities and mixed-use centers. Pamela is a hospitality design leader at GGLO and has contributed her 17+ years of expertise to creating award-winning places that truly elevate the guest experience. Though each project is unique, she advocates for a seamless and integrated approach to design and strives to accomplish GGLO’s mission through 'design for the human experience’.
Originally from the Northeast, Don moved west after receiving both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Architecture from Miami University. Through his experience at Mithun, Callison and Integrus, Don developed a wide range of expertise from residential projects - both single and multi-family - to commercial office, retail and mixed-use, to large scale K-12 projects.
Jasmin has been a member of the GGLO family for 14 years. As the firm’s unfailingly organized Accounting Manager, Jasmin supports the business of design by processing payroll, billings and accounts payable. She is known for her commitment, adaptability and finding new ways to streamline the accounting process, recently implementing a paperless interoffice transaction system. Jasmin loves working with numbers, so it’s fitting that she believes two heads are better than one. She thrives on working collaboratively, sharing her knowledge and learning from others’ experiences.
While at GGLO, Marieke’s has transformed the landscape of projects such as Seattle Housing Authority’s Yesler Terrace Master Plan and 10th Avenue Hill Climb, Fremont Peak Park, and Parks & Trails at Greenbridge with King County Housing Authority. She has also contributed to the Capitol Hill EcoDistrict study and is working on a community placemaking effort in Seattle’s Madison Valley.
Marieke has presented at regional and national design conferences, including Cities Alive and WASLA, on topics ranging from Yesler Terrace’s Redevelopment and the Capitol Hill EcoDistrict, to “Living Architecture: Connecting food, water and culture”.
Pamela Trevithick AIA, NCARB, LEED® Green Associate

Pamela’s notable projects include the Allison Inn & Spa, The Lodge at Tiburon, Cedarbrook Lodge and Tacoma Housing Authority's first Community Center, finishing in January. She is currently leading the transformation of the landmark Semiahmoo Resort. Pamela leads the mentoring program at GGLO where she helps promote the sharing of professional knowledge, skills and expertise.
Associate

Don now applies this acquired expertise to GGLO’s Campus Environments projects and the daily design challenges that come his way. Don mentors junior staff in learning the design processes and shares with them the joy of bringing a project from concept to built reality. Don’s notable projects at GGLO include Garfield Station at Pacific Lutheran University; Bridges@11th, a partnership between Seattle Children's Hospital, the University of Washington, and a private developer; and several design-build concept packages for Washington State University.
