Come join us for our magical May Day celebration!
In conjunction with downtown Seattle’s monthly First Thursday Art Walk on May 1st, GGLO and 4Culture will present Ooo La La, a lively interactive two-hour-long public performance event created by artist Lucia Neare.
The Harbor Steps will be transformed into the celebratory and whimsical atmosphere of a luxury cruise ship from the 1920s, with a live orchestra, bubblegum-snapping Brooklyn bellboys, lovesick British maids, French waiters with a secret, and many more surprises from a cast of almost 200 of Seattle’s sweetest actors, dancers and musicians.
This public performance art event celebrates GGLO’s commitment and ongoing work to create great civic places for public art and community. GGLO staff will be joining the extravaganza in costume so you won’t want to miss it!
